The Rose原由創作女歌手 Amanda McBroom（亞曼達麥克布隆姆）
所譜寫，她才是原唱者......
因為70年代電影「The Rose」(台譯為「歌聲淚痕」)選主題曲..
本來這首歌並不被電影製作人看好...
但因緣際會的由 主演的女主角 貝蒂密勒（Bette Midler）所喜愛..
在錄音的時候，更邀請 亞曼達 親自為 貝蒂 唱和聲。
影片推後，獲得了很高的評價，歌曲打進排行前三名，也讓 Bette Midler
奪得了該年度葛萊美「最佳流行樂女歌手」的榮譽，更奪得「最佳女演員」
和「年度最佳新人」等兩座金球獎。
所知道此歌曲,除了阿桑還有蔡依林翻唱.
阿曼達在樂壇素有『The Queen of High End』的稱號，這也使得許多發燒
歌友們，常在測試音響時所使用的人聲大碟都指定-阿曼達。
只可惜，阿曼達之前在美國發燒名廠喇叭花所發行的2張專輯(皆曾入選TAS
榜單)，卻早在數年前絕版，這讓許多熱愛她的樂迷們嗟呼不已……
